Ahh that January "Jan Plan" trip to study archaeo-astronomy in Mexico with Professor Anthony Aveni. We started in Mexico City and toured archaeological sites in two mini-vans, where we measured building alignments and related them to the movements of the sun and the planets. Along the way we had priceless opportunities to meet and talk with scholars in Mexico and countless culinary adventures that sometimes resulted in Montezuma's revenge.
