Alumni from all eras are invited to this gathering, taking place Saturday at 2 p.m. in Colgate Memorial Chapel, which will provide an opportunity to recognize award winners, salute the 50th class, and hear testimonials about Colgate. The assembly will include remarks by President Brian W. Casey and featured guest speakers from the Alumni Council and Reunion class years ending in 4 and 9.

Colgate Reunion isn’t just for adults. Families are encouraged to attend. We offer a variety of family-oriented activities and child care services.
Throughout the weekend, we offer events specifically aimed at families and younger guests. In previous years, events have included a scavenger hunt, family bike ride, climbing wall open hours, and more. Look for activities with the Family Fun “Raider” icon in the schedule of events.

Every year, we partner with KiddieCorp to offer Camp Raider to younger guests aged 6 months to 12 years. Appropriate activities are provided for each age group and include exciting themes, arts and crafts, group games, music and movement, board games, story time, dramatic play, etc.
Please note that pre-registration with KiddieCorp is required. Register early, as spaces fill up. Walk-in registration space is very limited and cannot be guaranteed.
A list of babysitters (rates vary) will be available at the registration desk in Donovan’s Pub, James C. Colgate Student Union. Information can be obtained after May 1 by contacting the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@colgate.edu.
Younger guests are welcome at all meals during the weekend, with the exception of the Saturday evening formal class and affinity group dinners, which are open to guests aged 21 and over. Alternative arrangements for meals and childcare should be made for Saturday evening formal dinners.

Every year, dozens of alumni and campus community members offer classes for Reunion attendees. Reunion College sessions provide an opportunity for presenters to share their career experience, research, interesting hobbies, or community service in a classroom setting during Reunion.
If you are interested in presenting at this year’s Reunion, please apply here. Proposals are due by March 1, 2019. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis with approval status delivered no later than March 18, 2019.
On Saturday evening, formal dinners will be held at locations on and around campus. Members of classes that are marking an anniversary are invited to dine with their classmates. A formal group dinner will also be held for alumni who are not on their five-year Reunion cycle. Dinner locations will be included in the highlight sheet you receive in your welcome packet.
Saturday night dinners are only open to alumni and guests who select the Full Weekend, Saturday Only, or Raider Weekend with Saturday Dinner registration options. If you plan to attend a Saturday evening formal dinner, please select one of these three options when registering.
Please note that these dinners are open to guests aged 21 and over. Alternative arrangements should be made for meals and childcare for younger guests.

In recognition of milestone anniversaries, a number of events will be held throughout the weekend. More details will be provided in the Reunion schedule of events and highlights sheets.
To coincide with its 30th anniversary, a celebration and recognition of the ALANA Cultural Center will be held during the weekend.
Past and present members of the Alumni Council are invited to mark the Council’s 100-year anniversary at lunch on Friday.

All alumni and guests are invited to a concert by members of the Swinging ’Gates from all eras on Saturday night at 9 p.m. in Colgate Memorial Chapel. Members of the Swinging ’Gates are invited to a cocktail reception before the Saturday evening formal dinners.
In recognition of the 10th anniversary of Thought Into Action, which promotes entrepreneurship at Colgate, a number of events are planned throughout Reunion weekend, including a showcase featuring TIA ventures.
